Amor Art Farm
art that grows art you can eat
Here are some pictures of my past work .
i carried out all the construction detail , an helped adapt the plans .
The central decking area is surrounded by water , and feels like an island amid a sea of green .
i designed and executed this walkway , with stars on asymmetric orbits to add some cosmic-curves to counter-balance the squares .
meanwhile , the plants in the front yard flowered purple , so we painted the front door to match , along with natural brazilian tile with hints of green and purple .
And then a treble clef door-knocker for extra musicality and whimsy .
i designed and executed this compact bike-shed
with a flip-top and double doors to allow easy access for multiple bikes .
i threw in the diagonals for extra style .
i charge $20 hr (less than the market value)
This is because my overheads are less :
i ride my bicycle whenever possible ,
i dont have to pay rent on fancy offices in san francisco ,
neither do i have $30,000 landscape architect student debt .
In the current era of specialisation
most people are farmers OR landscapers OR artists OR builders
and their product is often one-dimensional .
i am all of these elements , and i can blend them into multi-dimensional spaces and holistic gardens .
My newest project involves making high quality hang-out spots ,
with edible beds radiating around them . The beds are built using clean curves , attractive angles and mandala formations .
